Saba is Balto and Jenna's daughter, and is also Aleu, Kodi, and Dingo's sister. She is voiced by Melanie Spore as a pup. Saba is seen in Balto II: Wolf Quest, and Balto III: Wings of Change. Saba made minor appearances throughout the second and third movies, with her only major on-screen appearance in the Wolf Quest, when she asks her father if he'll get an owner as well.
Personality[]
Saba is strong-willed and independent. She is head strong and doesn't always think before acting. But she can also think on the spot of forced to. She may not be the most sympathetic dog, and always seems to say what on her mind, she is also a fiercely loyal friend.
Appearance[]
Though she's only seen as a pup and most pups seem to have slight changes in their color scheme or markings as they grow older, Saba's pup design greatly resembles Jenna, with a slightly paler coat. Her eyes are blue.
Biography[]
Balto II: Wolf Quest[]
Saba is first seen when Balto visits Jenna while is nursing their pups. Saba will be seen again playing with Boris on the beach, where they chew on Boris' leg until Balto stops them. After that she still continues playing.
Saba will be last seen when she is set for adoption, Saba ask if she'll get a owner which Balto agrees. Moments later, she get adopted.
Balto III: Wings of Change[]
Saba appears only in the flashback during the "You Don't Have to Be A Hero" song.
Trivia[]
- Fans have their own interpretations of the pup. Some of the most notable are adult Saba resembling her mother in fur color and pattern.
- Her only line is "Papa, are you gonna get a human too?"
